Moving to a bigger piece, this one is again from a photograph by my Dad, obviously back in the Rockies!  A friend described it as haunting and I was kind of gripped by the subject matter which kept me working on this for a long time.  Eventually, the painting told me it was done - it is amazing how the end of a painting is not easy to determine.
