This is also from the Ottawa River - it almost became graphic in quality and I am not sure why.  How many ways can rocks trees and water combine to make beauty?  It seems endless to me, thankfully.  I wanted the coldness of the day to meet the warmth of the fall colours in some kind of balance.  I hope to paint this scene en plein air again soon in a few weeks.
